After cycling on Cumbrae and through Glasgow over the weekend, I wanted to ride on Monday with the weekly Free Wheel North Tour. Eilidh had written to me in advance that this tour is taking place and I had planned it.
Just in time for the tour, it stopped raining a bit. I picked up a Nextbike and headed for White House. Among others along the Kelvin River.
The tour started with eight people under the expert guidance of John and Victoria of Free Wheel North. It first led along the Forth and Clyde Canal.
First short stopover: Speirs Wharf.
With this great view of the city.
Then it went down to the city and on a circuit
through the parks of the City and back to the White House.
After a cup of Coffee
I said goodbye to my friends and the riders and returned to my hotel. Of course, along the Kelvin through a magical landscape.
Thanks, Eilidh, Victoria and John for the nice tour.
That’s why I ride. All pictures and impressions are there here.
